New Look…Yet Again!

Ok… I know I probably change the look of my blog more than I write in my blog but thats how I roll :)!

Happy Birthday Terry!

Happy Birthday to my best friend!  This man is my rock!  I love him more today than I can possibly ever imagine!  He is a wonderful father to McKenna and she has him wrapped securely around her little finger where every little girls daddy should be 😉 !  We have been through so much the 12 and a 1/2 years we have been together…it’s truly amazing we survived at all!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my one and only!

Not Much to Report…

… and I am ok with that!  I am really busy at work the last couple of weeks and the next couple of week will be brutal.  (Ok I am not too busy to blog 😉 )  This Sunday we are having a special speaker at Church, a guy from Answers in Genesis.  That’s the organization that built the Creation Museum.  I am really excited about it I think it going to a great showing of God’s word, with lots of new visitors at our church!  We are going through construction on the church sanctuary also, with the holidays coming up I hope it all gets done in time!  So as you can tell work is CRAZY!!!!  But very thankful for the job I do have and the Boss I have he is amazing and great to work for!

Life As THEY Know It…

    My brother and sister in law have an amazing family!  They have 5 children under the age of 5.  Lucy 4 (She will turn 5 in Jan.),  Gracie 3, Lincoln, Gavin, Vaughn almost 19 months!  Jamie and Karen take their daily life in stride you guys should check out her blog just to get a glimpse of what they do on a daily biases  http://brookharts.wordpress.com/

Well all this being said Karen was very sick all of last week and exhausted! Jamie wasn’t feelin too hot either and stressed to the max!  So mom and I met Jamie half way and took all 5 kids for the weekend!  Let me tell you there was never a dull moment on Friday mom & I fed the boys after we were done with that mom went to get pizza. I started a bath for the boys. Simple right? WRONG!!!  I got them in the tub and we were havin fun playin in the water all of a sudden the water looked really gross… I thought it was one of the water toys squirting out moldy water I stood up to get it out and noticed it was POOP!!!! Lincoln had gone poop in the bath water.  So I had to take ALL the boys out of the water fast and all the toys.  So I had 3 naked boys running around a very small bathroom and it was getting smaller by the second.  I cleaned out the tub and put clean water in and the boys back in and finished the bath without anymore events. The rest of the weekend was full of fun, shopping trips, a hoe down, and lots of love!

I don’t know how Jamie & Karen do it.  They are amazing and are great parents!   And I am thankful they share their kids with me.  But God knew what he was doing when he gave me only ONE child!!!  I will post some pics from this weekend soon!  Till then 😉

Carvin’ Pumpkin’

Last week Terry & I took McKenna to a pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins.  And we found the “PERFECT” pumpkins!  We went to Nana & Papa’s house to carve them. 

After we pulled out all the seeds we roasted them and began on her bat.

Then Terry & I did ours we all had alot of fun!

UNTIL 3 days later…

Something ATE  McKenna’s bat right off of her pumpkin she was truly traumatized! She asked Terry why would an animal eat her pumpkin and all he could say was “I don’t know”  She said “They just wanted to be mean!  Poor Macadoo!

Just Another Day…

Have you ever noticed that sometimes your life seems sooooo routine that you feel like you are just like a zombie going from one thing to the next?  Maybe it’s just me.  Believe me I do NOT want any drama…(I had enough of that this summer 😉 )  Maybe just some kind of excitement… something to look forward to… I don’t even know what I am talking about!  I am not expecting anything extraordinary just something out of the normal day to day things.  I mean I get up, I get McKenna up and on Mon, Wed, Fri I get her ready for preschool on Tues, Thurs I get her ready for Tammy’s House (our babysitter)  I take her to preschool / Tammy’s House then I go to work.  I get lunch then I go back to work.  I come home from work for the day and we get supper then between 8:30 – 9:00 we put McKenna to bed watch a little T.V. the go to bed.  Then I wake up and do all over again.  I don’t know I just must be in a grouchy mood.  Anyway I feel alittle better now but I hope no one really reads this.  If you do I am really  sorry!

Terry & I just cracked up!

McKenna’s New Room!

For McKenna’s birthday Terry & I decided to surprise her with switching and redoing rooms with her.  She spent the whole weekend with Nana & Papa so we could surprise her :)!  Here it is…

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl! It is so hard to believe that you are 5 years old today (As you proudly say you are a WHOLE hand!) You are so amazing to me as you went through so much in the very beginning of your life but to look at you now… WOW God is GOOD! As I look back at the year you have grown so much… You love to dance & play & listen to music especially David Crowder* Band. You love to go to pre-school to learn new things and to see your friends especially Landon! You have such a tender heart that you were so worried that Theo would be lonely without Nana & Papa you began to cry. When you look at me with those big brown eyes my heart just melts. You know what Macadoo you are a precious gift God gave to Mommy & Daddy and we thank Him everyday for that gift. We love you and are so Proud that we get to call you our daughter!
